Member of the R&D team chartered with defining and developing FDC's
Internet-based services during 1995 - 1996. Assistance in strategic and
project planning, business plan development, and software evaluation.
Business areas included Internet-based credit card acceptance and
direct marketing. Performed detailed evaluations of web-based merchant
mall software products such as Netscape's Merchant Server. Provided the
complete design and implementation of a prototype e-store for this
evaluation. Also, led a site design team through creation of the
initial corporate World Wide Web presence for the EFS division.
Direct Banking Division,
Omaha and Los Angeles
Consultant to the division President, as well as to the directors of
marketing and systems/operations. The division provided branded
Internet-based home banking services to the customers of banks, credit
unions, and credit card issuers. Performed operations assessment which
reduced the implementation time required to launch new Internet banks
down to an industry-leading 30 days. Managed a site development team
through a re-design of the firm's web site, including a new online demo
of Internet banking services.
